Siyeh Creek Without my Hat
Often, when I am off taking pictures, I move around to gather different perspectives on a subject. The Siyeh Bend Trail and Creek starts at a bridge off the Going to the Sun Road. I liked being up high, as it gives you the view of a bigger perspective. Well, mother nature and my hat had other ideas in mind. While shooting from the bridge above, my wonderful Grand Canyon cap blew off my head and down towards the creek. A big believer in "leave no trace" practices, my duty required me to go down and look for it. What serendipity! A different view with a more intimate look at the colors of area. Thank you Hat! Mount Siyeh (on the right) and Cataract Mountain (center left) in the background. FYI: I found my hat in this exact location. Hat knew where to go! :)
