When I came to the mountains of Glacier National Park, I did not know their names. I planned to find out more and understand the history of the place as I became familiar with its landscape. What presence and glory was revealed to me as I looked out over the valley to the thunderous mountain pictured here. It's called Heavy Runner. That seemed odd to me until I found out why. It's a story we all should research and come to our own conclusions on. But alas, as this rock will stand strong until the end of time, may its name last just as long.
Reynolds Mountain stands to its right.
